The Space Between Us
At Fundacja Teatru Trans-Atlantyk, collaboration is the foundation and beating heart of all our work. We collaborate to listen and to learn. We co-create performances, but also relationships. We believe that what is made between people—between voices, between traditions, between languages—is where real transformation begins. For us, collaboration is also a form of resistance: against isolation, against silencing, against cultural homogenization. It is how we challenge hierarchies, open doors, and build stages where many can speak. Our work is rooted in the belief that performance is a communal act, and that shared authorship leads to deeper truths.
Whether we are working with artists in exile, cultural institutions across borders, grassroots collectives, or independent visionaries—collaboration means finding a common language without losing what is singular. It means holding space for complexity, for difference, and for emergence. This page is a living catalogue of our collaborations—past, present, and still unfolding. Here, we celebrate the people and projects that have shaped us. Not just what was made, but how we made it—together.
